“In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect.”
–Alice Walker

Slow down, look closely and pause to hear the song birds over head. The Japanese call it Shin-rin Yoku. Here in Tasmania, we call it Forest Bathing.

More than just a ‘walk in nature’, Forest Bathing uses mindfulness and meditation techniques to take you to a new level of sensory awareness that creates a profound send of peace, calm and enhanced well-being. Some describe it as transformational.

Location: Stunning bushland 10 minutes from Hobart City
Duration: 2 hours

See the world from a new perspective.

During our two hour forest bathing experience you will be guided through a series of invitations to tune into your senses, slow down and rediscover your true relationship with nature, and yourself. Our journey into nature will be slow and gentle to give you time to adjust from the fast pace of every day life, calm your mind and body and open yourself up to the healing properties nature brings.

Every forest bathing experience is different and all activities are 100% optional. There is no right or wrong way for the experience to unfold - sometimes it’s playful, sometimes still, sometimes full of laughter, and always rejuvenating.

Reap nature’s rewards.

At Nature. Be in it we believe that the greatest hope for ourselves and the future is to connect deeply to nature. Smelling the air after the rain, watching the sunset and touching the earth literally is medicine for the soul.

The positive effects of forest bathing are now well documented. It has been proven to decrease blood pressure, boost autonomic and immune functions, reduce the risk of chronic illness and improve depression and mental health.

Wait and see what a Nature. Be in it. time out can do for you. Equip yourself with simple tools to restore yourself in nature every day. Let us take you on an enchanted Nature Immersion and you’ll come away replenished, ready and raring to take on the working week.
